Move request

Hey. Can you please move Shreveport Bossier Mavericks to Shreveport-Bossier Mavericks. The former can't be moved to the latter as the latter is already a redirect page and the page was previously under that name in the past. I imagine the user who moved the page in December did so without a hyphen as they were unable to include the hyphen. Thanks. DaHuzyBru (talk) 03:11, 3 January 2024 (UTC)

Moved. The only incoming link I changed was from the navbox.—Bagumba (talk) 07:04, 3 January 2024 (UTC)
Can you please consider deleting Ro Grande Valley Silverados. It's a clear typo redirect from 2006. Rio Grande Valley Silverados is sufficient. DaHuzyBru (talk) 07:26, 3 January 2024 (UTC)
@DaHuzyBru: I can't do it unless it meets WP:SPEEDY criteria, which I don't see any offhand that fit. You'd have to take it to WP:RFD, but keep WP:RFD#KEEP in mind. —Bagumba (talk) 07:37, 3 January 2024 (UTC)

Protect Ricky Rubio?

He has said he is retiring from the NBA and is no longer with the Cavs, but folks are extrapolating that to mean he has retired from basketball, though this has not been clarified. Could we protect the article for a couple days? Rikster2 (talk) 18:45, 4 January 2024 (UTC)

Protected 3 days due to unsourced BLP edits. —Bagumba (talk) 18:53, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
Thanks. Hopefully the full picture comes out pretty quickly. Rikster2 (talk) 19:02, 4 January 2024 (UTC)

American football vs football

I'm curious to why you've been changing "American football" to just "football" in player intros. And for some reason it's been only former players and not current. For as long as I've been on this site it's been referred to as American football to differentiate with "soccer". Is there a discussion about this I missed? Yankees10 17:51, 31 December 2023 (UTC)

@Yankees10: It's basic WP bio standard. Per MOS:CONTEXTBIO: The opening paragraph should usually provide context for the activities that made the person notable. In most modern-day cases, this will be the country, region, or territory, where the person is currently a citizen... Bios on Americans generally start "is an American..." As for plain "football", that's what Americans call it. Per MOS:TIES, An article on a topic that has strong ties to a particular English-speaking nation should use the (formal, not colloquial) English of that nation.. "American former American football" would be awkward. Have a Happy New Year. —Bagumba (talk) 18:21, 31 December 2023 (UTC)
Ok, but not including nationality has never been an issue in the past. I'd argue it's not necessary to include it as an extremely wide majority of NFL players are American anyways. All in all, changing the name of the sport they play is a pretty big deal and probably worthy of a larger discussion.-- Yankees10 18:39, 31 December 2023 (UTC)
Also why only former players and not current?-- Yankees10 18:40, 31 December 2023 (UTC)
@Yankees10: Former players read wrong as "is a former American", so it seemed more bang for the buck to work on those first. —Bagumba (talk) 18:47, 31 December 2023 (UTC)

@Yankees10: Circling back to this now. I noticed that Ken Bowman, who recently died and is currently on the Main Page, had is an American former professional football player added in 2020 with the edit summary updated to Wikipedia style intro[1] Editors have been separating "American" from being displayed next to "football" for a while, such as Darren Lewis (2014), Lionel Aldridge (2014), Willie Richardson (2016), Percy Snow (2023), A. J. Green (2023), Robert Griffin III (2023, edit summary He's not a former American)

Regarding American football supposedly needing to differentiate from footy/soccer, non-American soccer players tend to be referred to as a plain "footballer" in their bios (e.g. David Beckham is an English former professional footballer), not "association footballer" nor "soccer player", nor as MOS:COMMONALITY suggests to gloss e.g. "footballer (soccer player)". They opt to follow MOS:TIES, using the English style closely associated with the subject. Americans and Canadians generally just say they play plain "football"—not "American football", "Canadian football" or "gridiron football". Using plain football in North American contexts is consistent with TIES and the community's widespread practice.

...not including nationality has never been an issue in the past...: The same could have been said about American football bios not putting "U.S." in the infobox's listed birthplace, or mixing state abbreviations into high school names, contrary to MOS:STATEABBR (Postal codes and abbreviations of place names—e.g., Calif. (California), TX (Texas), Yorks. (Yorkshire)—should not be used to stand for the full names in normal text....They should not be used in infoboxes) but people have since been conforming with the site norm, per WP:LOCALCONSENSUS. For other bios, nationality is mostly mentioned in the lead sentence, and it conforms with MOS:CONTEXTBIO. I don't think there's a community accepted exemption for gridiron football. Not everyone knows American football, certainly worldwide, and even non-sports fans in the U.S, nor do they necessarily know the players' demographics. WP:AUDIENCE suggests:

Wikipedia is an international encyclopedia. People who read Wikipedia have different backgrounds, education and opinions. Make your article accessible and understandable for as many readers as possible. Assume readers are reading the article to learn. It is possible that the reader knows nothing about the subject, so the article needs to explain the subject fully.

Sorry if this is winded. Let me know if you have any comments. Thanks.—Bagumba (talk) 08:18, 5 January 2024 (UTC)

1985 Kodak San Diego Chargers

Hi,

I see you used one of these for Bob Gregor. Would you expect this entire series to be okay to use on Wikipedia? I've got my eye on this one...[2] Harper J. Cole (talk) 20:39, 6 January 2024 (UTC)

@Harper J. Cole: Nice continued work on the [San Diego] Chargers. For those images, I'm following the herd, as I saw another uploaded card from that set. And I think it's consistent with this past discussion about no copyrights visible on the card, and the fact that Kodak has their name on it and presumably did due diligence. Otherwise, I'll leave it to the copyright experts. Best. —Bagumba (talk) 03:04, 7 January 2024 (UTC)

Darkening your door

It's me again. Not sure what you meant. I was being a wise-ass with being that maybe we should worry about the next President, hopefully, and not this insane Brady # conversation. I di agree with you, WO-9 and ULPS. I stood away from that as long as I could, lol. The indent thing you sent, I'm not getting that at the moment .... did I do the wrong indentation for the reply again? Bringingthewood (talk) 02:40, 7 January 2024 (UTC)

@Bringingthewood: oh yeah, my change was purely regarding the indenting, not the content (no comment there LOL). —Bagumba (talk) 02:51, 7 January 2024 (UTC)
Holy God, I thought that indenting thing might have meant calling someone's mother a bad name, lol. I feel better now. Being that I may be half in the bag already ... I must say, any mention of your name was meant in a good way. I think I agreed with what you said on not putting the number as being retired, for the time being. As far as me indenting, I'm having fun with it. Way back when, Eagles247 gave me a heads-up on that. Wikipedia likes things neat and proper, I know that now. Hope your 2024 is going well so far. Bringingthewood (talk) 03:07, 7 January 2024 (UTC)
You may not want to respond, being that I tend to go on and on. But one thing I wanted to let you know, that '1' that was on the alert bell went away yesterday. Yes, you can sleep well now, but I do remember mentioning this to you. Yesterday I found myself on an Italian movie page .. and being Italian, I understood none of it. But when I cleared the message, the '1' went away! Go figure. Honestly, without little things like this to bullsh*t about, how is life worth living? See, I gave you an easy out tonight. Until the next time. Bringingthewood (talk) 03:35, 7 January 2024 (UTC)

Piping

Hello! Not sure why I was doing things like this: Miami, Florida, U.S. When plumbing should be going on. Brian Griese. If I was wrong, I just wish I was notified by someone. This is the same user who puts the high school city and state back, when there's nothing there. This is why I said I was going to stay away from them. A salmon swimming upstream, s***, that fish doesn't know how easy he's got it, lol. Bringingthewood (talk) 06:04, 10 January 2024 (UTC)

I'll act accordingly. When I see the city and state going back on ... I will nowrap it. Sometimes I need 24 hours to put the axe back in the sheath. Have a good week. Regards, Bringingthewood (talk) 02:06, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
@Bringingthewood: I probably 90% of time do something like Miami, Florida, thinking Miami, Florida only invites the inevitable drive-by Miami, Florida (MOS:SEAOFBLUE). But there's no formal guideline for that, just an informal common practice.—Bagumba (talk) 15:55, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
I've seen you do that in the past, and I'm glad you just said why. I won't go back and correct all the 'invites' I must have sent out, lol, but I like your way going forward. Thank you for the message. Have a good weekend! Regards, John Bringingthewood (talk) 22:16, 11 January 2024 (UTC)
P.S. Who am I kidding, I might correct a few invites.  ;) Bringingthewood (talk) 22:18, 11 January 2024 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Naji (disambiguation)

The article Naji (disambiguation) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Invalid and unnecessary disambiguation page which contains the primary topic and only one other topic.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Page moves

If you or anybody else wishes to open an RM at NBA Conference Finals or NHL Conference Finals or any other Sports-related page? then go for it. Bold page moves (bypassing RM) in sports pages, particularly concerning 'uppercase/lowercase', is just not the way to go. PS - The other editor's not helping themselves, with their bold approach. GoodDay (talk) 18:17, 15 January 2024 (UTC)

@GoodDay: I haven't looked at that one. I assume if you opposed it, you had a specific reason. Forcing an RM just for the hell of it just seems bureaucratic at best IMO. Best. —Bagumba (talk) 18:26, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
Considering the current atmosphere around 'uppercase/lowercase' in sports pages? Bold page moves, is inadvisable. GoodDay (talk) 18:30, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
@GoodDay: Personally, I'd judge each case on its own merits. But I can see the animosity likely growing, right or wrong.—Bagumba (talk) —Bagumba (talk) 18:38, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
Yeah, it's become a hot topic, apparently within the sports pages. GoodDay (talk) 19:15, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
Animosity and heat are, hopefully, contained within the disputed discussions themselves. It's been quite a debate, points of view playing out in prose. But I don't see how animosity will prevail between long-time Wikipedians "off the field". One of my favorite people here is Dicklyon, and I think we get along well outside of these occasional casing concerns. His interest in improving the project is evident (although sometimes misguided, poor guy), and one of our disagreements resulted in a mutual block, yet as Wikipedians I think we would stand side-by-side against the Britannicans! lol Randy Kryn (talk) 00:31, 17 January 2024 (UTC)
@Randy Kryn: Ideally it shouldn't just be "contained"; WP:CIVIL should be the norm. As it is, MOS and article titles is already on Template:Contentious topics/table, but WP:BATTLEGROUND is brewing:

In large disputes, resist the urge to turn Wikipedia into a battleground between factions...Editors in large disputes should work in good faith to find broad principles of agreement between different viewpoints.

Bagumba (talk) 03:27, 17 January 2024 (UTC)
Sure, although that one is pretty contentious, with some of us balking at the attempted change of the "WP:RM to WP:MOVEREVIEW" process becoming the "WP:RM to WP:MOVEREVIEW to WP:Village pump (policy)" pathway. If successful, anytime someone doesn't like a move review upholding a no-consensus RM there will be another standard step added to an RM appeal. A yes-no disagreement of that size hopefully leaves a little wiggle-room for good faith direct language. Randy Kryn (talk) 03:49, 17 January 2024 (UTC)

Looking for some help

Hello B. I received the following message from a fellow editor. I'm asking you and two others if anything could be done regarding this. Thanks in advance. (So, I’m trying to add information about one of my relatives who played for the Browns and the Lions but it gets taken down because there is no source and i cant find a source, is there like a form or something that higher ups can confirm first hand information from family members? regards, kayvon4mvp Kayvonthibodeaux4mvp (talk) 03:26, 18 January 2024 (UTC) Thanks again, John Bringingthewood (talk) 03:37, 18 January 2024 (UTC)

DYK for Bob Gregor

On 20 January 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Bob Gregor, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that a coach said that Bob Gregor "hits so hard, he maims himself"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Bob Gregor. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Bob Gregor), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. DYK for Frank Duncan (American football)

On 25 January 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Frank Duncan (American football), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. Question

What are your thoughts on creating a "coaching_position" parameter for infobox NFL bio? Jason Witten's infobox just says he is a head coach of some high school but doesn't says he was a tight end. This has been a problem for years with different NFL players who become head coaches and assistant coaches. If someone is a current coach, their playing position can be moved down to the career information section like it is on free agents (example). The coach parameter will only be used on active coaches of course. ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 19:17, 25 January 2024 (UTC)

Also, maybe we could call it "non-playing position" to incorporate GMs and executives too. ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 20:00, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
@WikiOriginal-9: Basketball has been doing it for years. See Template talk:Infobox NFL biography § Player position for playing years? Perhaps get consensus at WT:NFL. —Bagumba (talk) 23:15, 25 January 2024 (UTC)

Aaron Rodgers

I notice that you and others keep deleting the fact that Aaron Rodgers never graduated from the University of California, Berkeley. He in fact dropped out of Cal to enter the NFL draft & play professional football…He did not go to Law School and in fact has never graduated from any College or University with a degree having chosen to play professional football…It would be good if you & others would include these facts in your “edits” thank you Marcomatic (talk) 09:00, 26 January 2024 (UTC)

@Marcomatic: His article doesn't say he graduated. If you want to explictly write he didn't, you'll need to cite a reliable source, which requires a source to vet out that he didn't graduate years after entering the NFL.—Bagumba (talk) 09:09, 26 January 2024 (UTC)

Adrian Griffin domestic violence allegation

Hi, you restored this part saying that "settlement =/= unfounded". That settlement was actually from a defamation lawsuit FROM GRIFFIN HIMSELF, not from the alleged domestic violence allegation. As such, the whole paragraph should be deleted as unfounded. There is no evidence the original event actually occured FMSky (talk) 12:18, 8 February 2024 (UTC)

@FMSky: The text doesnt say it occured, just that they are allegations. The fact that its been in the news off and on for a few years, and that there was an undisclosed settlement, seems to warrant the short three sentences on the situation that is consistent with WP:WEIGHT. —Bagumba (talk) 17:19, 9 February 2024 (UTC)

What did I do?

Me and my big mouth, first no cracker, now no more juicy conversation. I would have left it. I'm a firm believer that everyone should speak their mind. Except for Trump of course, he's the only one to get in trouble for that kind of nonsense, lol. On a lighter note. Can I remove a nickname from the lead if it's pertaining to a middle name? I can give you an example to be more specific if I'm making your head hurt. I have a way of doing that. :( Bringingthewood (talk) 03:03, 11 February 2024 (UTC)

@Bringingthewood: I used a strikethrough, so it's not fully deleted. No big. It's not surprising how the door got opened in the first place. If you are referring to a page title using a person's middle name, then no quotes needed. MOS:NICKNAME says If a person is known by a nickname used in lieu of or in addition to a given name, "in addition" wouldn't apply and a middle name is one of their given names. Let me know if you were referring to a different case. —Bagumba (talk) 03:14, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
I saw. That's the right way, or else someone would come to your house to find where you hid it. I think you answered it. My example would be 'me' (I trust you, lol) I have no nickname, but if my page would have Philly Guadagno on top, and the lead starts off John Philip "Philly" Guadagno. It would be correct with MOS:NICKNAME for me to remove "Philly" from the lead. Correct? Bringingthewood (talk) 03:21, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) Yes, that's correct. ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 03:33, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
Thank you all. I would have bet money that someone else wanted to see my name, lol. ;) Bye everybody!! Bringingthewood (talk) 03:35, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
@Bringingthewood@, WikiOriginal-9: I don't have a problem with ommiting the quoted "Philly". However, note that MOS:NICKNAME refers to "common hypocorism". "Phil" is a common hypocorism, whereas "Philly" is more "commonly understood where it came from" (at least for English speakers in America) than "common" (in my parts, at least) in usage. For your reference, you can refer to Talk:Al Capone/Archive 3 § Hypocorism "Al" is unneeded to see that these aren't always straight forward.—Bagumba (talk) 05:02, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
I knew my middle name would give me a headache. Example: Title of the page is Joey Bats. The lead is John Joseph "Joey" Bats. Does "Joey" in the lead get removed? It's for a middle name 'nickname' only. That was my only concern for non-removal. If I can find the person in question again, I'll send it over. Bringingthewood (talk) 05:08, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
I think that one's obvious enough to be removed. ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 05:19, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
Still, when I find that player I saw earlier again, I'll let everyone see it. Never thought about a middle name nickname until I saw this. Bringingthewood (talk) 05:30, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
@Bringingthewood: Or take Ja Morant. Middle name is Jamel. One could argue that is (quite) obvious where "Ja" comes from, but it's not a common name. It's currently quoted. —Bagumba (talk) 06:12, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
Now that's one I would have left alone. Like you said it seems obvious, but not common. The one I saw earlier somewhere was obvious. I stood away only because of maybe the rule was 'first' name nickname only. Funny, I was overthinking Geno Hayes earlier. WO-9 stopped the ball from rolling out of control when he reverted Richard F. Lyon thank God. Bringingthewood (talk) 06:24, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
@Bringingthewood: Terry Cummings (Robert Terrell Cummings). For Lyon, there's no real guidance that I'm aware of for nicknames that aren't part of the title but are common and "obvious". Stephen Curry has "Steph" put in the lead every now and then. I tend not to spend cycles on those cases. —Bagumba (talk) 06:42, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
Okay, Terry Cummings (Robert Terrell Cummings) is the perfect example. Let's say the page was setup like this: Terry Cummings (Robert Terrell "Terry" Cummings). Can I remove "Terry" from the lead, even though it's a middle name nickname? This is the best example that explains my question. Bringingthewood (talk) 06:49, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
I'm fine without "Terry" there. But someone might argue that Terrell is not that common. But if it was Terence, MOS:QUOTENAME would clearly not apply as Terry is a "common hypocorism" of Terence. —Bagumba (talk) 07:08, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
Bottom line it looks like it should be as close to common as you can get. As long as it doesn't matter if it's a first or second name that's a nickname, I can act accordingly. Made up examples that seem like no-brainers to me would be let's say, Joey Mays (John Joseph "Joey" Mays) or Tommy Pettis (Terence Thomas "Tommy" Pettis). Those would be okay to delete the quoted name in the lead ... correct? Bringingthewood (talk) 07:16, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
Yes, a middle name is one of a person's given names, so it applies. —Bagumba (talk) 07:25, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
Great. If I see an easy one I'll do it. Enjoy your Sunday and thanks for everything. P.S. Thank you, WO-9 ... I know your out there somewhere. Bye for now. Bringingthewood (talk) 07:37, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
Don't worry, I won't ask for every player. Not a common name .. Chaz Schilens. Normally I would remove "Chaz". Do you think he could be called "Chazer"? (If you're there, WO-9 .. feel free) :) Bringingthewood (talk) 22:05, 13 February 2024 (UTC)
@Bringingthewood: Is "Chazer" a hypothetical question, or did I miss a joke? Sorry, Im not otherwise familiar with this player. —Bagumba (talk) 02:28, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
A bit of both. You didn't miss anything though .. crazy name. I don't know this player either, but who knows if someone would call him Chazer. There was an honest question in there among comedy. Would you remove Chaz in this situation? Or maybe pass it by? Bringingthewood (talk) 04:04, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
P.S. Looks like we have another nowrap hater. Justin Jefferson I wonder if a revert will open yet another can of worms! Bringingthewood (talk) 04:12, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
@Bringingthewood: I saw them yesterday, and left a comment at User talk:EddieDean19 § High school location. It's counter to template documention to list HS city, and also against MOS:STATEABBR. Perhaps you can offer another opinion there? —Bagumba (talk) 04:16, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
@Bringingthewood: Me personally? I'm not adding the quoted "Chaz" if it wasn't already there. I'm not reverting if someone removes it. Removing it seems to make common sense, but I'm not on a campaign (yet?) to remove those "first syllable(s)" nicknames. —Bagumba (talk) 04:12, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
Now I removed it for a purpose .. HIS MIDDLE NAME IS MUSTARD! Can't take him seriously, sorry. Bringingthewood (talk) 04:17, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
Dangit BTW, you beat me to it. I was waiting to see if Bagumba wanted to keep it or not. hah. But yes, I've been sorta removing ones like that as well... ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 04:22, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
LOL! Sorry. You see any more condiments ... please destroy them! What a night, Charles Haley had an IMDb link added. I removed it and they put it back, so be it. I never thought that was reputable place. Now they'll probably add it to every player in the universe. Bringingthewood (talk) 04:25, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
Wow, he's not even an actor or anything. All the imdb page says is NFL on CBS.... ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 04:30, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
Anyone that's on TV, even as themselves in a game, is on imdb. So yeah, "every player in the universe". —Bagumba (talk) 04:36, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
I nuked it. ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 04:40, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
Exactly! Also, I love the response (revert). Yes, I am that someone. But I have no comeback to explain why it would be wrong, lol. Bringingthewood (talk) 04:34, 14 February 2024 (UTC)

Devin Taylor, cornerback

Came across the Devin Taylor disambiguation page recently, and there is another football player, a cornerback, who went professional two years ago and I was wondering if he meets notability, despite playing in a minor football league. He played five games last year for the Philadelphia Stars in the USFL, but wasn't picked up by the United Football League following the merger. APM (talk) 14:09, 22 February 2024 (UTC)

@AmorPatiturMoras: Sorry for the delayed response. I'm not familiar with that player. Generally, football players need to meet WP:GNG for a standalone article. Regards. —Bagumba (talk) 03:43, 26 February 2024 (UTC)

Not sure

Hi there. I think this was supposed to get to you. talk. I think it's Rod Martin responding to your message last night. Bringingthewood (talk) 05:47, 28 February 2024 (UTC)

Not sure how to get this directly to you. Bringingthewood (talk) 05:48, 28 February 2024 (UTC)
@Bringingthewood: Found it at User talk:Rodmartin3sbxv. —Bagumba (talk) 05:52, 28 February 2024 (UTC)
Thank God. I would play with sending things over if I could preview my edits. I could never send links like that to someone in one shot. Mental block I guess. Bringingthewood (talk) 05:54, 28 February 2024 (UTC)
@Bringingthewood: I admire your persistence with the less than optimal work conditions. You deserve a raise, except you're only a volunteer. —Bagumba (talk) 06:09, 28 February 2024 (UTC)
LOL! I appreciate that, it does pass the time. Don't worry, I would forward the check to you anyway! ;) - Bringingthewood (talk) 06:14, 28 February 2024 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

For your great edits revising the leads of "football" players. ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 13:29, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
I remember that's how Dirtlawyer used to do it. This is especially a problem when the player in question isn't American, so we end up with stuff like "is a Canadian American football running back". There are also always American CFL players whose leads says "is a Canadian football running back" even though they're not Canadian... I've been changing those CFL ones like that to "football". Also, not stalking you, I've had tons of QBs on my watchlist for years. I noticed no one has reverted any of your edits so hopefully we can get it rolled out to the active players as well eventually (though I'm sure randoms will come along and change some back; and non-American editors probably will as well) ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 13:37, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
@WikiOriginal-9: Thanks. There's thousands of "former American" players to get to before I'm going to worry about active players, but I do change the active Canadian NFL and American CFL players if I stumble across. Not sure how NFL and footy bios ever got so divergent. —Bagumba (talk) 19:36, 14 February 2024 (UTC)
Drew Willy: I guess he's Canadian now? ~WikiOriginal-9~ (talk) 17:10, 16 February 2024 (UTC)
@WikiOriginal-9: Unlike those other former Americans without a new country. —Bagumba (talk) 17:15, 16 February 2024 (UTC)

NBA playoff leaders

I assume this editor added playoff leaders/records/etc, because maybe it saw Lolloasdawqa (talk · contribs) doing it for NBA/ABA players. – sbaio 16:14, 1 March 2024 (UTC)

@Sbaio" Thanks, I've removed the ones I could find and notified the editor.—Bagumba (talk) 16:47, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
