Colorized version

This is one of my contributions. I uploaded it to Wikimedia Commons. It shows a tiny girl named Emma laughing at her aunt and uncle. I got it from Flickr. It is originally made by Katie Thomas. I also made a colorized version of the photo.

Currently, I have made three articles. They are Fifth inauguration of Sheikh Hasina,1953 United States elections and 2023–24 in downloadable songs for the Rock Band series. I tried to create an article before, but I didn't use reliable sources. I used reliable sources when writing these article.

Events

edit

This is a comprehensive list of events that took place or are set to occur in 2024.

The Non-cooperation movement (2024) was a series of pro-democratic protests against long-time Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina. The movement was declared on 3 August. [2]

Resignation of Sheikh Hasina

edit

Hasina resigned from office on 5 August, amidst pressure from the army. [3]

The 2024 United States presidential election is set to take place on November 5.[4] Voters in each state and the District of Columbia will choose electors to the Electoral College, who will then elect a president and vice president for a term of four years. The main contenders in the election are Donald Trump of the Republican Party and Kamala Harris of the Demoractic Party. Initially Joe Biden was meant to be the Democratic nominee for the election. But he withdrew on July 21, 2024. [5]
