Unless a matter is private, I generally prefer to be contacted via my Talk page, as this gives better transparency.
If you send a message, please leave {{You've got mail}} on my talk page so I know that I've been sent an email (I check my email irregularly, so I recommend you tell me you've sent me a message).
If you do send me an e-mail message, please change the subject from "Wikipedia e-mail" to something more descriptive. I will reply to your email rather than via your talk page (unless you request otherwise).
If extra security is needed, please encrypt your email using my PGP public key.
I expect all emails I receive to be free from profanity and discriminatory, defamatory or otherwise colorful language. If you send me such a message, don't expect a reply from me.
I reserve the right to publish any or all of the email contents at my discretion. I believe in transparency in Wikipedia matters, but I also understand the need for confidentiality in certain situations. I will keep your information confidential unless absolutely necessary for the good of the project and/or the safety and health of the people who work to create this encyclopedia.
