Notes
editThis Template is getting out of control. It's title is Template:Soviet Automotive Makers but it now contains much Post-Soviet links. Either the Template name needs changing or the post-USSR needs removing.--Degen Earthfast (talk) 13:02, 16 September 2012 (UTC)
- Exactly. I'm going to become bold in doing that in a month or so. 95.133.73.202 (talk) 22:39, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
Wrong template
editSome companies has nothing to do with the Soviet Union, while another neither with the Soviet Union or the Russian Federation. The template is also categorized as Russian. Aleksandr Grigoryev (talk) 14:45, 22 August 2013 (UTC)
- Deleted companies that have nothing to do with Russia or Soviet Union. Aleksandr Grigoryev (talk) 20:53, 7 November 2014 (UTC)
- The template seriously infringes onto WP:POV and is inaccurate. It seems to have been developed to pursue the Russian irredentism in Wikipedia. Aleksandr Grigoryev (talk) 19:26, 10 April 2017 (UTC)
- This template is pretty pointless at the moment, 90% of the companies listed are either Russian or Ukrainian, and both countries already have their own automotive navbox (Template:Automotive industry in Ukraine and Template:Automotive industry in Russia). If no one objects, I will move it to Template:Automotive industry in the Soviet Union and limit its scope to Soviet carmakers.--eh bien mon prince (talk) 20:54, 8 June 2017 (UTC)
Will delete
editLadies and gentlemen, you now have a month to rewrite this template anew, following repeated warnings of its intolerable ambiguity and questionable notability. Failure to do so will result in my WP:TFD listing. Wishes, Ukrained2012 (talk) 14:51, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
Moved
editMoved to a new title "Automobile manufacturers of the former Soviet Union"--Degen Earthfast (talk) 14:38, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
