Silat al-Harithiya
edit- ... that Abdullah Yusuf Azzam, the co-founder of Al-Qaeda, came from the Palestinian village of Silat al-Harithiya?
5x expanded by Huldra (talk). Self-nominated at 23:22, 14 July 2016 (UTC)
- 5x expansion verified. New enough, long enough, well referenced, no close paraphrasing seen. Hook ref verified and cited inline. QPQ done. However, several paragraphs lack citations, per Rule D2. Yoninah (talk) 10:05, 15 July 2016 (UTC)
- Ok, User:Yoninah; I have added sources for all paragraphs...except the "Location" one (That is: "Silat al-Harithiya is located south-east of Ti'inik and Rummanah, and north of Al-Yamun.") To be honest: I added that after looking at a map.....do you want me to remove it? Huldra (talk) 20:28, 15 July 2016 (UTC)
- @Huldra: well, you already mention its location vis a vis Jenin in the lead. You could either add these additional directions to the lead, or delete them, as they lack a citation, until after the DYK appears on the main page. Yoninah (talk) 18:48, 16 July 2016 (UTC)
- @Yoninah: I just deleted the paragraph. The lead was there before I started expanding it. It has probably(?) been taken from the Welcome to Silat al Harithiya, that is, the palestineremembered.com-site. It is a site I normally don´t use as a source, (but it can be useful a WP:EL, especially due to all the pictures), Huldra (talk) 20:00, 16 July 2016 (UTC)
