Mojo Mathers
edit- ... that Mojo Mathers (pictured) became New Zealand's first deaf MP during the 2011 general election?

Please note that final election results will be released on 10 December. Some commentators say that if the Greens do as well in the special votes as in previous elections, then Mathers might just get into Parliament. So we'll know for sure in a week's time. Easy enough to change the hook if need be. Schwede66 18:35, 3 December 2011 (UTC)
To clarify, for any reviewer: The only votes not to have been counted yet are the special votes. (Click for more information.) Aridd (talk) 09:04, 4 December 2011 (UTC)
- The article's length date and sourcing are fine and no evidence of plagiarism/copyvio issues. The hook is interesting and supported by a citation in the article, which checks out. The image has a slightly unusual license, but appears to be OK. Mikenorton (talk) 22:46, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
