Article is new and long enough, article is properly cited, no copyvio concerns (Earwig reports quotations or proper names that cannot be worded any other way), image is from NASA and hence has a compatible licence, hook is cited to the NASA source given and confirms her receipt of a Flemming Award. - I didn't think the award would mean much to most people. The hooky part is that a woman was involved in the design of the Space Shuttle. In 1978 there were only five or six women working in technical positions at JSC, two of them on the Space Shuttle, out of a workforce about 4,000; the hiring of six women as astronauts that year doubled the number.
