Erica Pappritz
edit- ... that in 1956, German civil servant Erica Pappritz co-wrote a book on etiquette which included sections on correct odour and on how Bonn diplomats liked to carry umbrellas? Source: [1]
- Comment: 4 February (death date) would be good day to run this

Policy compliance:
- Adequate sourcing:
- Neutral:
- Free of copyright violations, plagiarism, and close paraphrasing:
- Other problems: - Problems with verifiability: The article claims she co-wrote the book and ref #7 (ref #6 is behind a paywall) claims the book was written by "Karlheinz Graudenz, unter mitarbeit von Erica Pappritz" (Graudenz with help from Pappritz), which conforms with the information at the DNB. So saying "Pappritz wrote" is not correct. Please fix the article accordingly and propose a new hook.

- SoWhy The Der Zeit article (which now requires registration, but didn't when I originally used it), says "über das von der stellvertretenden Protokollchefin des Bonner Auswärtigen Amtes, Legationsrätin Erica Pappritz, gemeinsam mit dem "Weltenbummler" Karlheinz Graudenz verfaßte "Buch der Etikette", which means "the "Book of Etiquette" written by Deputy Chief of Protocol of the Foreign Office of Bonn, Legation Counselor Erica Pappritz, together with "globetrotter" Karlheinz Graudenz." This clearly lists her as a co-author. Joseph2302 (talk) 12:14, 26 January 2019 (UTC)
- The Zeit says she wrote it together with Graudenz. Ref #7 and DNB say Graudenz wrote it and Pappritz helped. In either case, saying she wrote it is incorrect because it implies sole authorship. I think if we change it to "Pappritz co-wrote...", it should be okay. Would that be acceptable? Regards SoWhy 16:26, 26 January 2019 (UTC)
