Cape Verde at the 2008 Summer Olympics

edit

5x expanded by NG39 (talk). Self nominated at 23:13, 21 September 2014 (UTC).

  • Comment: Why does the link simply read "Summer Olympics"? Is the relevant fact that they never progressed beyond the first round at the 2008 Olympics? If so, say that. Or is that they've never progressed beyond the first round? If so, why is this an appropriate fact for the 2008 Olympics specifically - what does that specific Olympics have to do with Cape Verde? • That's better, yeah. I'm not sure if the wording is perfect and I haven't checked the other factors, though, so I'll leave this one to the others. Tezero (talk) 04:56, 22 September 2014 (UTC)

Another one:

- for the reviewer: The hooks are all over the place, and only ALT 1, ALT 2 and ALT 3 are live. The original was struck - NG39 (Used to be NickGibson3900)Talk 05:11, 14 October 2014 (UTC)

  • ALT3 looks good; I tweaked it a little to indicate that the country replicated its previous performance, not the athletes themselves. 5x expansion verified. Article is new enough, long enough, well referenced, no close paraphrasing seen. Hook refs verified and cited inline. QPQ done. ALT3 good to go. Yoninah (talk) 23:19, 6 November 2014 (UTC)
