I'd suggest changing the ALT1 hook to either 'has been raised...since' or 'was raised...from the time' as smoother language. 'was raised...since' just feels awkward. valereee (talk) 13:08, 30 August 2015 (UTC)

You're completely right. She's a grown woman and on her own now so I didn't want to put the raising in the present tense then floundered when looking for a simple way to phrase this. Thanks for your elegant solution. - Dravecky (talk) 11:10, 1 September 2015 (UTC)
