Attempted theft of George Washington's head
edit- ... that, the last time George Washington's body was viewed, in 1837, it "appeared to have suffered little from the effects of time"?
- ALT1 ... that, during the attempted theft of George Washington's head, the body of Bushrod Washington was accidentally decapitated?
- ALT2 ... that the man who attempted to steal George Washington's skull became confused by up to 20 skeletons of Washington family members that had rotted through their coffins and lay strewn about the family crypt?

- A very interesting topic, who knew that a gardener wanted to do the same thing the British wanted to? Good job he failed otherwise All the Presidents' Heads would never have been made! Date and length fine. AGF on offline sources. My preference is for ALT1 as alt2 is too long and the original is a little dull. QPQ done. Good to go. The C of E God Save the Queen!
