I wonder if this article ought to be split, per WP:CONSPLIT, because it really deals with several different related topics. The most important of these, the ZAD in Notre-Dame-des-Landes, is certainly notable in its own right, but the name "ZAD" in itself may not be, nor perhaps individual smaller occupations (though as someone who doesn't speak French it's very hard for me to say). I was thinking of creating an article on the Notre-Dames-des-Landes ZAD, and wasn't previously aware of other occupations known by the name, but the presence of this one complicates that plan somewhat. Any thoughts? – Arms & Hearts (talk) 21:41, 24 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
I have noticed the French wikipedians have done this, with the NDDL article being significantly larger. I was a bit surprised, but it makes sense given the amount of information on their articles. --Lldll (talk) 01:15, 12 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
As a late response, i would say it's good to have this page for the umbrella term 'ZAD' and that the ZAD at Notre-Dame-des-Landes is certainly notable enough following the 2018 eviction attempt to merit its own page. that's something i could go get to eventually, unless i'm missing something it doesn't seem to have been set up already. cheers!
