Plot

edit

I am curious as to why the plot was reduced so dramatically. The previous version was more informative and also addressed the current state of Jean as the White Phoenix of the Crown and the tie into Phoenix: Warsong. As the text was not overly long, I think the plot section should be restored to the 20:33 Aug 15, 2006 version. This last version also credited the writer/artist, which I think is important. I'm the one that reduced it. I did it because of WP:NOT, Wikipedia is not a plot summariser. I kept things that were concrete and essential, and (if I remember this article correctly) removed some unencylopedic descriptions and some dialogue quotations. I removed the "White Phoenix of the Crown" term because I don't remember that phrase being used in the comic and it was not referenced. I appreciate that the previous plot was more extensive, but that's not the goal of an encyclopedia. Brad T. Cordeiro 19:25, 17 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
White Phoenix if the crown was used in one of the issues of "Here comes tomorrow". 2 Sept 07

Criticisms?

edit

Is there any reliable source showing criticisms of Endsong? I remember that on Comic Book Resources forum and Superhero Hype forums, it is frequently referred to as "non-events" (as in "following the non-events of Endsong"...), as nothing really changed the status quo in it (except for Warsong, which was the only major consequence of Endsong). A recap: {{spoilers}} -Jean Grey comes back for a few issues as the Phoenix, then dies again and goes back to the White Hot Room. Events revert to status quo. -Much Cyclops/Emma Frost. Was already status quo. -A lot of pretty artwork. -Quentin Quire comes back, resurrects Sophie, she returns to death rather than be with him, he discorporates again. Reverts to status quo. -Crazy Shi'ar forces create a few large craters in the ground, self-destruct in Eleka'an event horizon. Rvs to status quo. -Wolverine kills Dark Phoenix as in the movie... again... and again... about 7 times on one page. Reverts to status quo 7 times on one page. -Emma (very) temporarily becomes the Phoenix, is unable to control herself, and later gets the Phoenix Force ripped out of her by Jean.Reverts to status quo. -Stepford Cuckoo gets the Phoenix Force. And that's all... Anything? Specifically, what nuance and depth? Any references for what the interview meant by that on the web? I'm just saying this because none of the "fans" on the forums seemed to think it was deep or nuanced. <end rant> 169.229.121.94 01:28, 22 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

If you can find citations on pages like comicbookresources and superherohype (or even another site, please add the criticisms, we just want to avoid weasel words. Brad T. Cordeiro 01:54, 22 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
