Changed "fighting with a whim" to "fighting with a vim" in both current and historical versions of the song, which is correct as per Michigan State University sources. 74.72.221.197 20:26, 18 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

In the "Falcone Fight" version of the fight song the antequated ending should be sung as such. A source is included, please keep this text on the main page. Thank you.

Up with the colors,
Unfurl them on high (Green!)

Up with the colors
Unfurl them on high
Fight! Rah Team Fight! Fight!

Falcone

edit

It's Leonard Falcone, not Nicholas. Nicholas Falcone directed that other marching band down the road in Ann Arbor, not the Michigan State University Spartan Marching Band. Kevin Forsyth 16:40, 15 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Kevin Forsyth is correct, "Falcone fight" was the ever-evolving work of Leonard Falcone, one of his best arrangements being the one commonly refered to as such today. But don't overlook that when his older brother lost his hearing, Leonard directed not only the MSU band, but "that other marching band down the road" as well concurrently until William D. Revelli was hired.--Rwberndt (talk) 00:44, 12 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
