Commercial success

edit

Was this movie a commercial success given all the costs? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.223.71.224 (talk) 06:42, 11 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Synopsis length

edit

The movie is 158 minutes long, there are many scenes and details to include in a proper synopsis. I disagree that the plot synopsis is too long. Critical Chris (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 05:33, 13 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

”PLOT" This reads like a book report. Plots are actually a lot simpler than this. A plot can usually be summed up in a few sentences, if not one. I know this is going to come as a shock to some contributors.

Whenever you start adding details, "kills him with a bowling pin", for example, you are listing particulars of the story's implementation, details of the writer or director's vision, often a detail of casting or the art department. These details have nothing at all to do with plot, even if they are in some way symbolic. So we wouldn't have to worry so much about "spoilers" if contributors knew how to write an intelligent plot or synopsis, rather than merely doing a ubiquitous rendition of "Star Wars according to a three year old". --APDEF (talk) 08:55, 21 February 2020 (UTC)Reply
