Fair use rationale for Image:Banksa logo.png

edit

Image:Banksa logo.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:41, 31 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

It is a logo. The boilerplate fair use comment should be sufficient. Muzzamo 03:14, 7 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Space or no space in name

edit

On 3 March 2009 user Ghirlandajo moved St.George Bank to St. George Bank. Why? The correct usage appears to be without the space. Nurg (talk) 02:09, 7 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

further inquiry about the history of STG

edit

Hello and happy new years, I have been reading your wiki site about St George Bank with interest. I recall only vaguely the various merging's of the building societies over the years as they evolved into the present St George Bank. Could you possibly research or find out who took over who, etc? This is only for information and no other purpose. Some of these merges had been alluded to in the history but didn't explain the connections of the Cronulla & District Co-op B/society with STG and similarly for the NSW perm b/society and Advance.

If you could make these points of history just a little bit clearer, that would be marvelous. Kind regards, Robert Matthysen —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.149.127.80 (talk) 23:36, 31 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
