I did a bit of speculation here, namely because it's hard to read Arabic sources which are the more abundant ones, but I tried to capture the gist of his views, and assumed a bit in the process. Someone correct me if I made mistake. -- Natalinasmpf 8 July 2005 11:52 (UTC)

Why is he identified as an Iraqi by category? This seems to be a mistake. --User:Artlessdodger

Actually yes. He was only born in Iraq but is Saudi Arabian. ★ blane ♪♫♪ 09:30, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

What about Al Faqih's relationship with Al Qaeda?

edit

This article is deeply misleading if it says nothing about the nature of Saad Al Faqih's links with Al Qaeda and religious extremism. This article presents him almost as a human rights activist but he's a radical Islamist. You can be one or the other, but you can't be both.

For further information see Bin Laden connected to London dissident, BBC - on a mobile phone Al Faqih bought ended up in Al Qaeda's possession.

I've added a little on al-Faqih's Qaeda associates. LDH 05:11, 24 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

explanation

edit

I excised the following passage. It cites the History Commons -- which is an online encyclopedia, and like wikipedia articles, articles in that encyclopedia shouldn't be considered reliable sources.

In the late 1990s al-Faqih, al-Fawwaz, and Ziyad Khaleel supplied Osama bin Laden with a satellite telephone and an electric kettle.[1]

The History Commons attributes this claim to CNN. I checked CNN. I found no sign of any article making the assertion on CNN. Geo Swan (talk) 13:47, 18 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
