Coordinates

edit

Please note that the coordinates for this article are the coordinates for the approximate location shown on this map. Although the map shows the symbol to be more on the Canadian side of the lake, these two sources 1 and 2 state that the wreck is in Michigan waters.   Interesting ship fate, told in detail on good sources, no copyvio obvious. The image is licensed and gives a good idea of size and time. I also prefer the original hook, as more unique. - Before going to WP:GA, please fix ref order - they should be numerical ascending, and 5 6 7 are often not in that order. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:30, 3 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Gerda Arendt: Thanks very much for the feedback! I will sort the references sometime today. GreatLakesShips (talk) 10:15, 3 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Gerda Arendt: I have sorted the problem with the references. GreatLakesShips (talk) 13:31, 3 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
@GreatLakesShips: We just promoted a similar hook to Prep 2, and you have a similar hook at Template:Did you know nominations/SS S.R. Kirby, though there you offer an alt hook which is actually better. Could you suggest something else here? Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 22:33, 3 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Yoninah: The second ALT hook still involves the discovery of the wreck, but it is significantly different from the lead hook. GreatLakesShips (talk) 22:44, 3 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
