I noticed that the youtube link containing a part of a news broadcast was removed on copyright grounds. Is permission needed to post such items when the broadcast was freely available to the general public as part of the TV station's license?--Peulle (talk) 13:17, 1 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

If there's a video available directly from the TV stations website, then it can be linked. But for videos from youtube, there has to be a clear copyright statement somewhere, and usually best if video is uploaded by an official account of the tv station also. I'm not up on the norwegian tv/copyright/re-use issue, so don't know about that.
And for discussion and verification on this talk page only, the video in question is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-KWpx-3CUw
Of course, referencing the news broadcasts themselves is OK, it's just the links to videos must be handled with care. -- Eclipsed (talk) (COI Declaration) 13:57, 1 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Understood and agreed. I see you referred to the broadcast - I will try to find the exact date; I know it was in June 2007. I can also try to get a reference to the numbers, but I know that it's the postmaster who have them. Perhaps simply quoting him as a source will do? --Peulle (talk) 22:53, 1 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yes, the exact date of the broadcast would be good to include. For the numbers, a primary ref from the postmaster(s) is probably ok, since it's only for verification, not for notability. -- Eclipsed (talk) (COI Declaration) 06:20, 2 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Introduction "confusingly worded"

edit

I am unsure what to make of the designation "confusingly worded" made on the introduction. Please elaborate/suggest how to improve it. Which part was confusing?--Peulle (talk) 17:18, 12 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

I have rewritten the lead. If things are still unclear, please correct or enter suggestion.--Peulle (talk) 07:01, 20 September 2012 (UTC)Reply
