Removal of fancruft
editStop putting in the big list, it is against wikipedia guidelines. Wikipedia:WikiProject_Video_games/Article_guidelines#Inappropriate_content — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.65.117.143 (talk) 01:27, 11 September 2016 (UTC)
- "Sometimes a concise summary is appropriate if it is essential to understanding the game or its significance in the industry."
- This small content list is pretty much essential to understanding the nature of the sim, as it's not a regular game. It's not fancruft. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ModulAlpha (talk • contribs) 02:03, 11 September 2016 (UTC)
- Would we need to explicitly list all the types of weather that are simulated too?! "concise" is the word - not "exhaustive". The car list does not distinguish this from other games. knowing that it features a 1989 Ferrari and not a 1988 Ford is NOT essential to understanding the nature of the sim. Lol. Also, You may not see it, but this IS a regular game.
- As others have said, by all means include several cars if they are unique or interesting, maybe even a summary ("30 GT cars and 20 formula cars, with a focus on American care from the 1990s" or whatever). But you cannot add the whole list, it is wrong to do so.
