edit"Although often critical of Transnistria's leadership, in particular president Igor Smirnov" Proriv is an organization steered by Transtistria's Ministry of Public Security for purposes of international propaganda!!! Even if it does criticize the country's leaders it's only to pretend that it's not a tool in their hands! The article doesn't say anything about real reasons of Proriv's existence, it only shows us this organisation as Transtnistria's rulers want us to see it - when I read it I thought Proriv is fully independent and made on youth's own initiative. The second case: someone should remark that the links lead to propagandal pages.
- Dear anonymous, you must source these claims or else we can not include them in Wikipedia. I have heard this charge before but it only comes from Moldova, as smears with no proof, and this would be expected since the organization is against any sort of unification with Moldova (which is their right, by the way, as a political party). Please provide proof of these statements. Regarding the links, we can certainly include more. At the very minimum, however, we ought to include a page to the organization's official website, of course. Naturally, since they are a political party, that website will include propaganda for their own cause. How could we expect otherwise? - Mauco 16:48, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
- I've read about it in few newspapers, i'll search for the articles in a freetime.
- I see that you don't sign/date, and that no further statements have been forthcoming, so I guess that you (whoever you are) have not had any free time yet between July and now. - Mauco 04:10, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
Citations needed
editWe recently had some more anononymous edits to this article. I asked for a citation of some of the more dubious claims, but instead of providing any, the anon editor (IP 87.248.166.74) merely removed the [citation needed] citation requests. In that case, we should revert until source and citations are forthcoming. - Mauco 04:10, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry for the confusion and thanks for the remarks. I agree on the necessity of sources to ensure the high quality. That is why I put some quotations in the article but you seemed to ignored them. Sorry that the sources are in Romanian and German, but a topic like that is not covered very extensivly. Nevertheless, I am wondering how many quotations are necessary in a small article like this one. Maybe it would be good to come back to the topic of 'Breakthrough' and rather discuss the content of the article... - A.J.M 13:35, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
- I fully agree! By the way, there is nothing wrong with being anonymous as long as your edits are good and can be sourced. But if you want to have an account, you can do so and you can sign your entries, too. Just put a dash ( - ) and four tildes (4 x ~ ) after everything you write on the Talk pages. - Mauco 05:03, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
I would be grateful if my contributions were critically assessed and not only deleted without any comment. -A.J.M 21:25, 28 October 2006 (UTC)
