"polymer solar cell" vs. "plastic solar cell" vs. "organic solar cell"
editI'm wondering if an expert can clarify:
a) are all polymer solar cells "organic solar cells" - i.e. does "polymer" in this case imply "organic" either in theory or in practice (are all currently manufactured/research polymer cells also organic solar cells?)
b) are "plastic solar cells" and "organic solar cells" always the same thing?
c) does a "polymer solar cell" have to be a "plastic solar cell" or can it be something else?
thanks for any clarifications! Facts707 (talk) 03:15, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
Polaron transport picture is wrong (or misleading)
editThe illustration of the polaron movement along the polymer chain is very misleading, although nice. The physics community generally agrees that the polaron transport in the phase of conjugated polymer is by hopping, thus allowing it to be 2D, not unidimensional, like at the picture. I don't want to delete the picture until I see the reference for it. The reference link on the page does not lead anywhere active. Ain't good.Frostdawn (talk) 18:44, 14 September 2015 (UTC)
