Important notice
editThe government section of the "Outline of Burkina Faso" needs to be checked, corrected, and completed -- especially the subsections for the government branches.
When the country outlines were created, temporary data (that matched most of the countries but not all) was used to speed up the process. Those countries for which the temporary data does not match must be replaced with the correct information.
Please check that this country's outline is not in error.

2011 uprising in Burkina Faso
editNews reports tend to be very unclear but there is some sore sort of protests/uprising/revolt/revolution going on in Burkina Faso right now, including a curfew on Ouagadougou and some reports that president Blaise Compaore has fled. How about an article, 2011 Burkina Faso uprising, based on the French version or its translation here Metaknowledge (talk) 14:54, 17 April 2011 (UTC)
This article is very outdated
editThe most recent elections it talks about was 2005, but it says there should be elections every 5 years. Also how outdated the article is seems inconsistent between different sections and other sections of the article don't say anything about events past the 90's, or have other outdated information. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.94.88.57 (talk) 21:42, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
