Ligue 2 is fully professional, so I would change the opening to French professional footballer.

Last sentence of first paragraph is unsourced.
"to complete an unlikely comeback"- what would be considered a likely comeback? Perhaps late would be more suitable?

Stevenage

Unlink League One, already linked previously.

Section is unsourced.

Career statistics

In the table, you have combined totals of unrelated spells, for example Bristol Rovers, Stevenage and Grimsby are combined into a single total and also Drancy and Chateauroux are combined. Is there a reason for this? Normally stats tables have total rows for more than one season at a single club.

References

Refs 3 and 14 from the Sunderland website are dead links, any chance of recovering them?
Refs 25, 30, 31 and 32 from The Post are also gone.
Refs 36 and 37 need an author.
