I note that Oishinbo is discussed in this scholarly article. In case someone wants to start incorporating it into a stub of a reception section. —Quasirandom (talk) 03:54, 12 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Criticism

edit

No criticism section? I would have thought there would be a section about how additives and pesticides are described unfairly... --Kjoonlee 07:45, 22 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

"Censorship" section

edit

I have edited the title of the section formerly titled "Censorship" to "Controversy". The word censorship implies that there was a formal attempt by the government or otherwise to censor the manga. (There was a lot of criticism, as is stated with sources in the text, but that is not the same as censorship.) Since the publishers claim that this was a scheduled break, a more neutral title seems more appropriate. --Epsilonpilot (talk) 14:20, 8 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
