Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of US states by minimum wage

edit

See: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of US states by minimum wage. Please comment there after reading my post below.

Rather than trying to delete the list article I believe this overly long TL;DR article would be better served by moving the remaining tables to the list article.

Then both articles would be a reasonable size. Then there would be less problems like the one presented in the previous talk section just above: #Federal minimum wage over time where the original poster gave up looking for what he wanted.

An actual federal table could be created instead of just a graph. Because there would be more room to do so in the list article. List article name could be changed to something like:

  • List of US federal, state, district, and territorial minimum wages

Discussion can happen here too of course. --Timeshifter (talk) 01:59, 8 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

List article was kept, and not deleted. --Timeshifter (talk) 00:32, 21 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Consolidated table

edit

Moved to List of US states by minimum wage. It's overkill here, but useful there. I originally added it here Nov 20, 2021. See diff.

I added more info there. --Timeshifter (talk) 01:17, 21 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Adequacy assessment of minimum wages

edit

The recent proposed European Union directive on minimum wages (procedure 2020/0310) emphasizes adequacy assessments of minimum wages, explicitly requiring one of a basket of goods and services at real prices, or set it at 60% of the gross median wage and 50% of the gross average wage. Are those adequacy assessment measurements available here? I believe it would be useful to have equivalent statistical measurements between US and EU member states. int21h (talk · contribs · email) 06:06, 18 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Need a table

edit

This article needs a table of the US Federal minimum wage by year. This graph shows the information, but it would be useful to have a table showing each year it changed and what it changed to. Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 02:10, 7 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
