Spelling
editThe correct spelling of the hotel (as opposed to the English word) is "Millenium." The Hilton Hotels site is here.
I don't have a source for it, but my understanding is that when the hotel was built, the original owner didn't like the appearance of the word with two n's in it. He therefore chose this quirky spelling. In any event, there's no doubt that the correct actual spelling for the building has only one n. Marc Shepherd 20:46, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
Expand how it relates to 2001: a space odyssey
editI would suggest an expansion on that section because 2001 is the year that the building refers to. Also - the black monolith is related to evolution and star-gates. This little bit of information should be mentioned.
Photo caption
editThe caption for the image "Andrea Booher - This image is from the FEMA Photo Library" is unclear. When I originally looked at the image, I looked to the left of all of the mesh-covered buildings and knew that building was not the hotel. Perhaps, (the farthest left of the orange mesh covered buildings) should be changed to (the left orange mesh-covered building) or similar.
