Misleading statement

The article says "Michel Piccoli is a French actor and filmmaker of Ticino descent." Both his parents - Constantin Charles Henri Piccoli (1889-1975) and Marcelle Expert-Bezançon (1892-1990) - were born in Paris (CdBdM / Who's Who in France (1969, 1981, 1985, 2005, Editions Jacques Lafitte). The Swiss source referenced in the French Wikipedia article actually says "Michel Piccoli - di lontane origini ticinesi (leventinesi, di Piotta), che lui stesso vuole verificare" ("of distant Ticino origins, from Piotta, Leventina, which he himself wants to verify.") http://www.swissinfo.ch/ita/il-cinema--grande-specchio-dell-esistenza/6049666 Philburmc (talk) 06:49, 27 August 2019 (UTC)

There are practically no references, so for all we know, the whole article is misleading. It badly needs reliable sourcing. Mathglot (talk) 07:23, 30 August 2019 (UTC)

Can we change the picture in Infobox to this: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Michel_Piccoli_Cannes.jpg ? The file description says it's free to use. This picture is more representative of how Piccoli looked in his films. Philburmc (talk) 14:18, 27 August 2019 (UTC)

Cause of death

These two sources say that he died from a stroke.

Years active

Several articles are saying that he last acted in 2015. However, an article lists his first acting role in 1949.
