Merger proposal
editI propose to merge Herb chopper into Mezzaluna. The Herb chopper page is only one paragraph long and only directly references Mezzalunas and their chopping boards. (It also mentions food processors, though they are used for much more than simply chopping herbs.) There is already a very short section on the Mezzaluna page about the chopping board that links to the Herb chopper page. LeahG22 (talk) 23:55, 1 March 2020 (UTC)

- Support but only because it appears to be the WP:COMMONNAME and not for the reasons given. The fact that one page is longer is not a reason to prefer it, nor is mezzaluna more specific than 'herb chopper'; in fact you could say it is the other way around. Also there is another specific name for this implement which is also quite common and that is hachoir which should be mentioned in the lede; another valid name is herb cutter. - Oppose, or if at all mezzaluna into Herb chopper. There are many types of herb choppers that are not mezzalunas, for instance see pictures in: [1][2][3]. The mezzaluna is a type of herb chopper (though even that is imprecise, some large mezzalunas are used to mince meat for kebab), not the other way around. Free1Soul (talk) 15:57, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
