@Sportsfan77777: Greetings! Regarding this revert, we adopted the new style on Paul Lim for two reasons. One is that the old style uses tooltips, which mobile users can't see. The other is that the old style has two lists where the letters are associated (in one) with colors and (in the other) with the meaning. Given these problems, if there are other pages that use the old style, I'd support changing them to the new style for the same reasons. Does that make sense? -- Beland (talk) 01:13, 14 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
- Hi Beland, the information in the tooltips is all written out below the key. Even though there are two lists, it still takes up way less space than your version. Regardless, if you want to change the tennis performance key, you should discuss it with the Tennis Project as a whole, not on a specific article. Sportsfan77777
- After some digging around, I found {{performance key}}, which it looks like the template this is intended to match. I'll start a thread on Template talk:Performance key. -- Beland (talk) 02:18, 14 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
- Darts can use whatever performance key it likes, but a tennis article should use a standard guideline approved key such as {{performance key|short=yes|active=no}}. The tooltips was a later addon to help those who can use it... it shouldn't be eliminated just because phone users can make use of it. Fyunck(click) (talk) 04:08, 15 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
