Contemporary log driving
editI've no knowledge whatsoever about log driving, but the existence of images of contemporary log driving would suggest that the article's assertion of the practice being obsolete is false. Sandstein 16:58, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
- I was told as a summer tour guide at Chutes Coulonge (Davidson, Qc) that the last log drive in North America took place in 1982 on the Coulonge River. But I have no written reference that it is the last in NA, only that the last log drive on Coulonge River took place in 1982 -- jlam (talk) 16:28, 5 September 2016 (UTC)
There's already a page named "timber rafting", which shows just the same !!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.234.46.211 (talk) 19:29, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
