i'd like to add a bunch of stuff to this list, but it's not clear to me what the scope is. by area, do we mean l.a. county? l.a. metropolitan area? something else? the arboretum is on there, which seems to suggest that it's county. might it also be good to have some subsections to help organize? i'm not sure what the best way to partition it might be (if any); two that come to mind are by theme or by geographical location. probably by municipality is too finely grained, but maybe not. any thoughts?— alf.laylah.wa.laylah (talk) 13:21, 4 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

There are asterisks (*) next to 110 of the listed tourist attractions but there's no key on the page indicating what an asterisk stands for or represents. - Procyonidae (talk) 18:48, 9 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
