Improvement needed
editHi, this page has some potential, but seems to be pretty slapdash at the moment, to the point where I seriously doubt its utility. It seems like a very random smattering of moral panics, mostly from the last century to the present, focused on Europe and North America. It's all sourced, but is the "Gender Ideology Panic" only present in Latin America? Is an anti-LGBT panic only present in the US, Argentina, and Brazil? Islamic terrorism only a topic of panic in the US? There are so few examples listed here, and such random sourcing.
I don't know at what point a page is so unrepresentative of its broad topic that it's not useful for encyclopedic purposes, but this seems like an example of that phenomenon...does anyone else have thoughts on this? Theodore Christopher (talk) 18:34, 1 January 2025 (UTC)
