Promotional tone
editThis article is written in a way that amounts to puffery, especially regarding the streamer split - "among the most generous in streaming" is an example. Added the orange tag to get this sorted, as atm the article only covers its pros (e.g. large deals with XQC, streamer split) without its cons.
Notably missing from the article is the controversy over gambling streams. A source for this could be found, for example, here (https://www.thegamer.com/kick-streaming-everyone-hates/ although this may be a bit too POV).
Would do this cleanup myself but currently on mobile; can anyone help out? Couruu (talk) 18:31, 27 June 2023 (UTC)

Hourly pay
editanyone know when they are gonna implement the the 12-16$hr streaming on kick? 216.223.223.88 (talk) 04:17, 16 July 2023 (UTC)
- That’s what I’m trying to say. It’s not an actual fact, you don't always get paid 12 to $18 49.185.143.114 (talk) 01:01, 22 July 2023 (UTC)
- Nobody is being paid hourly, and this section doesn’t claim that. It simply lists it as a proposal, which it is. DeveloperRowan (talk) 07:36, 23 July 2023 (UTC)

Profitable…
edit“Craven said the company tentatively plans to become profitable in one to three years through the use of advertising.” Kick isn’t profitable?? I’ve always thought it was via cookies and data selling they do… SyntherLost (talk) 21:25, 15 October 2024 (UTC)
