Comment: @Lefcentreright: I think it might help, in terms of hooky interest, to simplify a bit and focus on the fact that Sacco is a former musician who used to play music at political party rallies before being elected as a member of that party. I could envision several ways of doing this, but I just wanted to give you a heads-up on what I think could be a great proposed hook. Viriditas (talk) 21:16, 10 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
I don't know if this will work, but I was thinking more along the lines of "... that Joshua Sacco used to perform music at political rallies before he was elected to the National Assembly of Zimbabwe?" Viriditas (talk) 21:47, 11 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Viriditas: I have changed the ALT0 hook to something more in line with what you suggested above. I think (hope) it will work. For some odd reason, I have really struggled with coming up with hooks for this DYK nom. Best, Lefcentreright Discuss 22:44, 11 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
I apologize for confusing you, but you don't need to change your hooks. I recommend keeping the hooks as short as possible. The hook I proposed has just 20 words. It might be best to restore your old hook. I will pass this on to someone else because it doesn't seem like we are understanding each other and I don't want to make this worse. Overall: Hello @Lefcentreright: I hope you're doing well 🙂 To try to finish this nomination, I wanted to ask, are you happy with using ALT0 as it is now? I personally like it, and after doing a check: the article was new enough when nominated, sourced well, and has no significant plagiarism concerns according to Copyvio. This ticks all the boxes for passing, but before I approve it, I wanted to ask again if you're fine with ALT0 since it's been so long since the last comment. Cheers!
