This Article is Atrocious
editThis article is just full of made up OR. There's a midrash that may or may not be from the 1st century or the 8th century, then we have some other dubious sources. It's a whole hodgepodge of drek. What is the purpose of this? Sir Joseph (talk) 04:01, 19 January 2016 (UTC)
Requested move 22 June 2016
edit- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: No consensus. Since the most recent relist, the new opposes are very weak. I'm going to close this as no consensus. Using "of" may have support, but that should be discussed in a new discussion. (non-admin closure). Anarchyte (work | talk) 12:55, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
Judaism's views on Muhammad → Jewish views on Muhammad – wp:CONSISTENCY (see here). Also, Judaism isn't a person; the 's possessive should be avoided for impersonal possessives. Judaism not being a person means it doesn't have views of its own; it has views associated with it (i.e. Jewish views would be more proper). - Oppose, per WP:PRECISE, the nominator seems confused between Judaism and being Jewish, see also: Who is a Jew?. The current title is fine and WP:CONSISTENT with Judaism's view of Jesus. Update: I notice that the Muhammad article uses on while the Jesus article uses of we probably make this consistent, personally I would prefer 'of'. Ebonelm (talk) 12:23, 23 June 2016 (UTC)
- Using "on" would be the consistent route with similarly named articles across WP. Run a few sample searches and it'll become clear pretty quickly. Jujutsuan (Please notify with {{re}} | talk | contribs) 12:38, 23 June 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose in the interest of a clear article scope, due to the issues mentioned by Ebonelm. However, I would support moving to the "of" version of the title, since it is also clearer and more natural language. If many other articles have this issue, those are many other articles whose titles could be improved. 64.105.98.115 (talk) 00:44, 24 June 2016 (UTC)

Problem with Midrash
editHow can a text from a rabbi of the 2nd century AD Simeon Bar Yochai be written in the 8th century AD. Unless there is some kind of time travel, it seems highly not factual. Patrick.N.L (talk) 16:40, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
This Article is Full of Lies
editAccording to Judaism, Muhammad was a false prophet. Because there is no prophecy in the world after the year 70 A.D. (after the destruction of the second temple). Saying that Muhammad was sent to the arabs to spread the belief in one God is 100% false. Again, There are no prophets after the year 70 A.D. (after the destruction of the second temple). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:A040:1A0:F4FD:DDEB:D1C:27E9:E4AF (talk) 18 April 2022 (UTC)
