Crossover title
editIs the title actually "Invasion!" (which just seems to be the title of the three episodes), or "Heroes v Aliens", per the title of the marketing poster? Alex|The|Whovian? 08:33, 23 November 2016 (UTC)
- I think, if we are only talking about the name of the article, it would still be "Invasion!" because it is an episode article and those are the titles of the episodes. But I'm leaning a bit to the fact that the event itself is called "Heroes v Aliens". If we were to adjust, it would just be a few shifts of content in the lead and changing a few things in the infobox. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 16:56, 23 November 2016 (UTC)
- I think we should list Invasion! as the primary title (it being the episode title of F/A/H) but also list any other titles which refer to the event. I haven't witnessed the "Heroes v Aliens" title mentioned above, on CTV it is being advertised as Heroes Unite. Is it possible different stations are assigning different titles? I think they should all be redirect here and mentioned somewhere.
- When I tried to generate a unique link it gave me http://www.ctv.ca/video/1002519 but it wouldn't load. If you go to either http://www.etalk.ca/tags.aspx?tag=The%20Flash or http://www.etalk.ca/tags.aspx?tag=DC%27s%20Legends%20of%20Tomorrow it is listed under "Preview: Heroes Unite In A 3-Night Crossover Event Thursday At 8 On CTV Two The superhero crossover event concludes with everyone working together to defeat the alien Dominators once and for all." though. The dialogue you hear is "Heroes Unite: the 3-night crossover event" indicating it as a title for the event. I took a screenshot and put it at http://i.imgur.com/HYIF9hW.png in case they take the video down or anyone outside Canada isn't able to access it. Ideally if anyone knows how to tape that commercial and put it on YouTube for all to view that could help establish its existence. I don't know if anyone has reported on it. In searching I did find https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y58h0yeonDA which has the "Heroes v Aliens" and describes it as a 4-night event. The CTV commercial which describes it as a 3-night event here in Canada (because CTV broadcasts Flash, Arrow and Legends, Showcase distributes Supergirl) uses much of the same footage but applies a different title to it. Makes no mention of the Supergirl lead-up at all. Wish I knew how to back up the video.
While it has facebook/twitter/googeplus/pinterest sharing buttons, they all distribute the same inactive URL.okay did a fresh search from scratch and found unique URLs and archived them. I tried backing the first up on archive.org but it leaves a blank page so I think these preview videos may be blocked to US viewers.

- All three links, in spite of the different Tues/Wed/Thurs headings, all use the same video advertisement about it beginning on Tuesday. Ranze (talk) 02:50, 28 November 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks Ranze. I can't access the videos, probably because I am outside Canada. If there are any entertainment websites that might embed these video and state "Heroes Unite", that might be a good alternative source to use. And yes, the "Heroes v Aliens" is how The CW is marketing the event in the United States, since all four series air on there. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 04:28, 28 November 2016 (UTC)
It’s titled Heroes v. Aliens. The episodes are called Invasion! You are basically giving false information by calling the crossover Invasion! The CW promoted the crossover title as Heroes v. Aliens. It’s called Heroes v. Aliens. Arrowversefanatic2002 (talk) 22:30, 31 January 2020 (UTC)
- How it's promoted and what the crossover is actually called are two separate things. All have been sourced and noted appropriately. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 23:07, 31 January 2020 (UTC)
It’s promoted that way because that’s what it’s called you idiot. They wouldn’t advertise and call the crossover Heroes v Aliens when it’s actually called Invasion. They didn’t do that with any other crossover. Use your brain. Arrowversefanatic2002 (talk) 00:54, 1 February 2020 (UTC)
Literally, every poster, every single trailer, it’s titled Heroes v Aliens. They didn’t just put that. It’s the name of the Crossover. The episodes are titled Invasion, the crossover is called Heroes v Aliens. Arrowversefanatic2002 (talk) 00:56, 1 February 2020 (UTC)
Another 4-night argument
editThis is officially a 4 part crossover per CW marketing, considering this is a US company I imagine their official marketing here is how it should be known. Perhaps two of the shows are on the same night in other markets? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfvEscEGWfI ````evilcharles — Preceding unsigned comment added by Evilcharles (talk • contribs) 02:09, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
Cast confusion
editWhy is Donelly Rhodes not in the guest section? First off he is not a series regular. 97.106.151.168 (talk) 02:33, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
- The table is for main and recurring characters. Donelly Rhodes is appearing in two of the series, making him recurring. Same reason why Melissa Benoist is included as well. If anyone else who was a guest from The Flash or Arrow episode return in Legends, they will also be moved to the table. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 04:06, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
- Do we really not know who this guy is, if he was supposed to be in the Flash episode? - adamstom97 (talk) 10:40, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
- He's the government agent with the glasses that talks to Lyla about following his lead as Waller did before the president is captured. He was also briefly seen at the start of the episode when Lyla is at the crash site, and the promo for the Legends episode has him talking to the heroes about how it will all be over if Barry turns himself in. At this time, he is not named. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 16:57, 1 December 2016 (UTC)

Premise/Plot
editContinuing on from the discussion at User talk:AlexTheWhovian/Archive 17 § Help with a draft, if interested, will we be keeping the premise as it currently stands, or converting it into more of a detailed plot section for each episode? Alex|The|Whovian? 02:53, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
- We can and should change it to a plot section. I was going to copy over the one at the list articles, but The Flash one wasn't really good, so I didn't. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 04:07, 1 December 2016 (UTC)
- As of this comment, the plot is at 651 words. Should it be expanded anymore? If anything, not by much, not like this edit. Thoughts? - Favre1fan93 (talk) 19:03, 3 December 2016 (UTC)
- 651 should be perfectly fine. WP:TVPLOT gives a guideline of 200-500 words, but this encompasses three episodes, an average of 217 words per episode. There's room to expand it a little further, but I agree, the edit you linked is... extremely extensive. Alex|The|Whovian? 23:56, 3 December 2016 (UTC)
- I was thinking, if anything, having a max of between 800-900 words would be okay. But we don't need to hit that, just as an idea for a soft ceiling. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 16:41, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
- I know this is three whole episodes, but because we have them together I don't think we need to take up the whole limit we would usually get for three individual episodes. I reckon we should keep it under the standard film plot limit, which is still plenty. - adamstom97 (talk) 00:40, 5 December 2016 (UTC)

Deathstroke and Vigilante
editShould we be listing these two in the cast lists, since we don't know the actors? Would a short paragraph at the bottom of the section be better for them? - adamstom97 (talk) 04:54, 11 April 2017 (UTC)
- The section is "Cast and characters", and since they were characters, they should appear. How exactly, can be discussed, but I think as we have them currently, in the list, is fine. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 16:15, 11 April 2017 (UTC)
