Need to discuss earlier history in detail
editThis article is quite incomplete in that it discusses only the colonial and post colonial history of Guinea-Bissau and not cover even medieval and early modern African empires, yet alone the region’s pre-agricultural history, which is fleetingly noted in the Guinea-Bissau article. luokehao, 30 April 2021, 01:26 (UTC)

editThe history is "long and bloody" sounds somewhat POV (and also, maybe, a little silly, since it only goes back to Portugese landings in 1450--is that really that long compared to, say, China or India?). This article could use some pre-European history in a bad way, too...

editChipping away at it. Good job to whoever flagged it Elinruby (talk) 11:21, 17 June 2023 (UTC)
Early History
editI just restored an old version after a discussion with @Vigilantcosmicpenguin about how to make sure this important information is included but cited correctly. The sections on pre-colonial kingdoms could use some cleanup but mostly need verified, credible secondary sources. Catjacket (talk) 21:34, 30 July 2023 (UTC)
