Poisoning of the water

I'v read a lot of French diaries of this battle (i'm French) and visited fort Vaux and never i'v read or heard of water poisoning as the cause but of the 80m3 underground cistern being damaged by tremors caused by the constant German heavy shelling. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.210.177.23 (talk) 18:13, 6 September 2014 (UTC)
