the text originally was a translation of an article I wrote myself for a club magazine and translated into English. It admittedly was incomplete and in parts too focused on one specific car (Maverick).
I fixed that, excluded the flashy bits and added more info about the 80s, 90s and today. Further refinements are on the agenda, need to research precise figures and, providing I got time for it, should up-date in the next couple of days.
