Hello and welcome to Wikipedia!

I am very happy to see you here, as I have been waiting for quite some time for an editor that would speak Portuguese and/or be well-versed in the matter to add the missing content on Simca do Brasil and Brazilian Vedettes to the respective articles!

Responding to the question you asked in the Simca talk page - no, in order to add content to a specific article, you need to click the "edit this page" tag that displays over each article and, well, add! I see that you have not received a proper welcome message yet, so let me provide you with a few link which you might find useful:

Additionally, do see WP:CITE and WP:NPOV, those are really important (not that you have to read them thoroughly, just to be aware of them). WP:CITE is an important Wikipedia policy that states that you have to provide a source for all the information you add to Wikipedia. I have found two sites on the Brazilian Simca Vedettes in Portuguese - perhaps they can serve as sources for the content you want to add, or even include more interesting info worth adding - [1], [2].

What I would advise you is to start experimenting in your very own sandbox which you can start by clicking here: User:Vee8/Sandbox. I will gladly help you to develop the content which you want to add to the articles there so that we can copy them to the articles once they are finished. And if I could help you in any other way, please drop me a line on my talk page!

I am looking forward to your contributions!

License tagging for Image:Simca Chambord 1963 by Dan Palatnik.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Simca Chambord 1963 by Dan Palatnik.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 23:07, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

Ford Maverick

edit

Herzliche Grüsse, Dorko Michael Rybiczka (328cia) --328cia 18:42, 17 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

File permission problem with File:Simca Jangada.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Simca Jangada.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- ТимофейЛееСуда. 18:48, 23 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite

edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:10, 7 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:Simca Chambord Tufao 1965 fr.jpg

edit

The file File:Simca Chambord Tufao 1965 fr.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 00:01, 30 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
