editThe "Criticism" section really needs rewriting as it's hard to understand exactly what it is trying to say. --ledow 18:49, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

'You are the wheelman'
editIsn't that just the tagline rather than part of the title? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 84.68.199.211 (talk) 18:43, 18 February 2007 (UTC).
I have the PAL version and the cover art doesn't have any kind of text other than "Driver" on it. See here: [1]. I suppose it's just a tagline. --Mika1h 19:47, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
Training
editDoes anyone else see the resemblance between the "Training" and the opening scene from the movie "The Driver"??? --Tzittnan (talk) 04:02, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
- Never seen the film, but after looking at the article I'd put money on it being an influence. Tanner gets called "Cowboy" several times on his answer-machine messages. --hubare (talk) 16:23, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Driver PC screenshot cover.jpg
editImage:Driver PC screenshot cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Driver: You Are the Wheelman → Driver (video game) — Driver is an European developed game released first in Europe so I think the article should use the European name, which is just "Driver". —Mika1h (talk) 19:57, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

. Since polling is not a substitute for discussion, please explain your reasons, taking into account Wikipedia's naming conventions.
- Support. It also avoids an ambiguity in the article name, which otherwise looks like it might be part of a namespace called driver, and the question of whether the subtitle shown on the box is really part of the name at all. Andrewa (talk) 00:57, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Discussion
edit- Any additional comments:
Also if you browse American reviews of the game: [2], almost noone mentions the subtitle (I only found one which did). --Mika1h (talk) 20:05, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Love interest
editI haven't played this game in ages but I remember there being a subtle love interest towards the end of the game where Tanner receives a visit from what seems like an old flame. Can anyone elaborate on this? --hubare (talk) 16:26, 28 July 2008 (UTC)
External Links?
editIt says "its not working anymore"? should it be removed? and replaced with a more recent updated Link? --Huik01 (talk) 06:30, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

Overly-aggressive AI
editHonestly, this should be added in the Reception section. How can people just overlook of the A.I. being downright unfair and overly-aggressive? I know its not the forums or its unsourced, but I'm surprised no game reviews have mentioned this at all. VGN34D (talk) 01:56, 5 April 2017 (UTC)
