"Mentioning other Drake properties is blatant advertising"

edit

What exactly is advertising here, much less "blatant"? So far you're only argument is that this is an article about Drake Hotel and not about Stober's other Drake properties. You may have noticed that the article's name is Drake Hotel and that it talks about, surprise, surprise, the Drake Hotel and different things that go on within it and around it. How does mere mention, supported by numerous sources that establish its notability, of the existence of other properties carrying the same name that have clearly come into existence precisely and only because of Drake Hotel's popularity and success constitute "blatant advertising"?

What exactly are you taking issue with here?

  • That Drake isn't popular and successful? There's like a gazillion sources stating otherwise.1, 2, This one, this one, and this one for example stating it transformed its entire neighbourhood.
  • That Drake One Fifty, Drake General Store, and Drake Devonshire Inn have nothing to do with Drake Hotel and therefore shouldn't be mentioned? There's also a deluge of source connecting the success of the former with the latter coming into existence. 1, 2, 3, etc.
  • That Drake business branding doesn't exist? Again, numerous sources talk about it explicitly.
