Title

edit

The title of the game is actually just Hellfire. Should the page be renamed to take that into account, as Diablo is not part of the expansion title? Tenraixtreme 23:16, 7 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I think it probably should, although I'm not entirely sure. kearF 21:44, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Neutrality issues

edit

The Hellfire page has a lot of uncited and biased opinions in it. There are also mentions of the "bad blood" between Sierra and Blizzard with no citations listed. Can anyone please find information and articles that back up the information listed, so we can start repairing this article? Tenraixtreme 23:26, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Criticisms Section

edit

Renamed the "Purported Flaws" section to "Criticisms", and added a few more uncited tags. IMWeazel 23:30, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

The large exposition about the internal struggles between the companies under the criticisms section needs to be cited in the next day or two, or I'm going to remove and/or heavily edit it. IMWeazel 21:05, 23 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
It can be deleted right away as far as I'm concerned. When it was added I asked the author to provide sources for it and he hasn't done so, that was months ago. I think it's still on my talk page. --Fogeltje 07:59, 24 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
I'm fine with removing it, I just wanted to give someone a chance to verify it. But, if it's been this way for months, then it's had more than enough time to be cited. I'll remove it. IMWeazel 19:45, 24 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
I made those edits to the reception and criticisms section, I just forgot to log in. IMWeazel 22:24, 24 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
More edits to the criticism section. Discussing the wording with Tenraixtreme as well. IMWeazel 22:36, 24 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
Okay, I removed the weasel tag. I think I took care of the worst of that section. Maybe now we could see some citations for those criticisms, but I won't expect them. Any more experienced editors care to critique our work? IMWeazel 23:06, 24 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Mac incompatibility

edit

Removed "Not compatible with Macintosh version" from the statistical chart on the right side of the page. A mention that it's incompatible in the article should be sufficient. Tenraixtreme 23:46, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Hellfire.jpg

edit

Image:Hellfire.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Matt Uelmen, composer of Diablo: Hellfire

He isn't credited for his two tracks The Hive & The Crypts in-game, and I don't know from where else to get the information either.
The only option would then be to make a personal phone call to him, and even then it would have to be written down in a reliable source by professionals. — R.K. Arturia (talk) 04:46, 23 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
