Democrat not democratic

edit

The name of this article is not exact. Democratic Party is the name of an historical party in 1970s. But this article refers actually to Democrat Party of 1946-1960 period. I am considering it to move. Any suggestion ? Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 15:12, 18 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

The name of the party should be changed as Democrat Party. In the history of Turkey, these two were different parties. Even today, Democrat Party and Democratic Party both exist in Turkey, which are different parties, of course. Inspectortr (talk) 17:09, 9 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Turan and Grey Wolves

edit

The "youth organization" is apparently the Grey Wolves who support the ideology of Turan, yet none of the Turkish organizations have fought for Zoroaster people to become sovereign within Iran. I'm not sure if this is the case, or if a piece of history is missing. Does anyone have information regarding this and whether or not the Democratic Party is founded on Turan principles at all?

Resurgence of Islam

edit

The introduction states that "The party facilitated the resurgence of Islam, especially at the popular level, in Turkey" but this point isn't really developed. 2602:306:CFEA:170:5C9B:2F2B:DC97:17CA (talk) 17:47, 5 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
