Cyrus Chothia is a very notable scientist in the UK (as all LMB senior scientists, of course, are) but has no ISNI or VIAF? Really? I wasn't able to find any on Worldcat. (They had his PhD thesis but last name spelled "Chotia" which is either an alternate spelling or misspelling. But no ISNI or VIAF under either name.) Dr. Chothia is almost certainly listed in UK Authority Control schemes such as the British biographical index, which requires a UK library to access. Perhaps someone could persuade him to set up an OrcID or researcherID while ISNI & Lccn get their act together? These would make it easier to link to his many publications, as well. This article may require some clean up around citations, etc. Wikipedia prefers secondary sources rather than primary sources, so citations work differently than in the academic articles whoever original wrote the article is obviously used to.

Is it really necessary to have seven citations for one claim "and emeritus fellow of Wolfson College, Cambridge"? Snickers2686 (talk) 01:01, 4 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
