editCould someone with some German or Italian knowledge add some facts from those versions? --BDD 15:24, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
Far-right?
editThis is ridiculous! "Far-right"... The UfS is neither radical nor has it to do with nazism.

To Sajoch
editPlease stop moving pages without previously discussing it with users (and please consider that redirect pages such as Union for Alto Adige or Union for the province of Bolzano are not needed: no-one will look for the party that way). You perfectly know that some of the changes you are proposing are not accepted throughout en.Wiki: please discuss first. One thing is to be bold, quite another is to act without seeking consensus. --Checco (talk) 23:33, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
PS: The full name of the party is BürgerUnion für Südtirol, hence "Citizens' Union for South Tyrol" (the party changed denomination in 2011 and the article was consequently moved). Also "Citizens' Union (South Tyrol)" would be OK with me though. --Checco (talk) 23:41, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
- I don't have to seek your consensus, if I'm applying Wikipedia policies. We discussed the naming of South Tyrolean parties here: Talk:The_Freedomites. The majority of contributors are favourable to leave the proper nouns untranslated, where widespread/accepted english translations do not exist (see WP:UE) and/or where a translation would be misleading (see WP:OR).--Sajoch (talk) 09:37, 19 November 2013 (UTC)
- That discussion is just on one party and, btw, no consensus has been reached there yet. --Checco (talk) 10:20, 19 November 2013 (UTC)
- I applied Wikipedia policies. If you want another solution, you have to seek consensus before undoing my corrections.--Sajoch (talk) 13:53, 19 November 2013 (UTC)
