Not accurate
edit"Carthaginian peace" refers to the Second Punic War, not the Third. After the Battle of Zama, Carthage lost all of its colonies, was forced to demilitarize, pay a constant tribute to Rome and could not enter war without Rome's permission. This is to say, when the term "Carthaginian peace" is used, it refers to a victor's justice where he takes an unfair amount of spoils, in exchange for allowing the defeated party to survive. -- LightSpectra (talk) 14:17, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
