I want to know the lineup of the Monterrey team of 1990-1991 or 1991-1992 or 1992-1993 season when they played in the playoffs against Maurer's Puebla and they were defetead because someone shut down the lights at Puebla. What was the starting lineup? Was Hermosillo playing for Monterrey?

Cleanup?

I think there must be some cleanup in this article. I can do it next weekend. I'm not sure if User:Emblem Blue, or User:Memoroel were the ones adding these sections.

THE NEXT LINE : "Rayados' biggest rival is Tigres. This rivalry is called Clásico Regiomontano, the Second most important derby in Mexico" doesnt have a link, and in fact "clasico regiomontano" is the 3rd derby bheind the Clasico Nacional (america vs guadalajara) and Clasico Tapatio (guadalajara vs atlas)

• Oppose From what I can see of other Mexican football clubs (e.g. Category:Football clubs in the State of Mexico, Category:Football clubs in Guanajuato), using the dots is standard practice for Mexican club names, including those that start with C.F. There probably needs to be a wider discussion about them, and any decision applied across the board. Separately, personally I find it incredibly unhelpful that Category:Football clubs in Mexico is almost empty. I appreciate the state level categories are useful, but the top level national category really should be non-diffusing, as is the case with many (most?) other countries. • Comment: No strong feeling either way as it is a matter of style (e.g., Seattle Sounders FC vs. Seattle Sounders F.C.; Liverpool F.C. vs. Liverpool FC). My purely non-representative observation seems to be that European clubs written with British English tend to retain the abbreviation periods, whereas those clubs written with American English don't. • Wow, is usage all over the place. The club never uses "Club de Fútbol" in abbreviated form in its institutional identity, after scouring their website. The Mexican press and FIFA tend to use CF (another example, another). But some US sources ([2], [3]) use with periods.
