Serfdom
editAlexander von Bach was a crazy man. According to my teacher he wanted to like reimpose serfdom or something like that
- The 1905 NIE says serfdom was abolished under his administration. Bob Burkhardt (talk) 21:36, 17 April 2012 (UTC)
- Whilst, there is zero evidence to support claims he wanted to reimpose serfdom - seeing as it was in effect before his rule - it is difficult to suggest (as with any historical debate) how far he went to abolish Serfdom, although he does seem to be one of the main propagators of abolishing serfdom in an attempt to conserve the Empire following the fall of Ferdinand and therefore as part of his conservatism.
